The Deputy Minister of Justice, Alpha Sesay ESQ, along with Ministers of Environment & Climate Change, Lands & Country Planning, & officials from the NPAA & Guma Valley, undertook site visits to assess firsthand, the level of encroachment that has taken place along the Freetown peninsular. As explained to communities during the visit, Sierra Leone has laws and in addition to awareness raising, the government will enforce those laws to prevent further damage to the environment & to Freetown’s water catchments.
